The Perfect Fit And Appearance Is Our Goal

Whatever your dental needs are we work with you to find your ideal level of care and comfort for dentures that won’t slip, slide or become dislodged when you eat or speak. Your new smile can also support the cheeks and lips to balance the muscles in the face that might sag or appear aged from missing teeth. If you are considering improving your health and smile with custom-made dentures or a partial denture, please call our office for a free consultation.

At Highland Dental Health we understand that if you have lost one or more teeth going to the dentist can feel very intimidating. Unfortunately, for patients who may put off going to the dentist after losing a tooth, health conditions such as gum disease, bone loss in the jaw or even further tooth loss can happen quickly over time.

Implant dentures

We Place Fort Atkinson’s Implant Dentures

These types of dentures are anchored to the jaw by the strategic placement of two or more dental implants, and soundly blend the stability of implant technology with the convenience of denture appliances. If you have multiple failing or missing teeth, getting a personalized consultation with Dr. Garrison can help you decide if this would best meet your tooth replacement needs and smile goals!

Health Risks Related to Tooth Loss

At Highland Dental Health we understand that if you have lost one or more teeth going to the dentist can feel very intimidating. Unfortunately, for patients who may put off going to the dentist after losing a tooth, health conditions such as gum disease, bone loss in the jaw or even further tooth loss can happen quickly over time. To protect your mouth and dental health we recommend coming in for a consultation. Using the best in preventative and conservative care, our services can help restore your health and smile no matter what your dental needs may be.

Is Your Current Denture Uncomfortable?

If your denture is feeling loose or has shifted in place our denture reline process can restore your denture to its proper shape and fit for more comfortable chewing or speaking. If you are in need of a new partial or complete denture we will first examine your dental health and determine what treatment options may be right for you. Depending on your current dental needs and general health, a single tooth replacement with a dental implant, or a partial denture “plate” may be more ideal.

Comfortable Partial Dentures

Partial dentures (also known as plates) are highly versatile for patients who want to improve their smile and quality of life with comfortable and natural-looking replacement teeth. Popularly made of a strong metal framework or flexible acrylic, partial dentures support the regular dental arch of the teeth and make it easy to eat and chew comfortably.

In some cases, a removable partial denture can be attached into place with a metal framework and clasps that connect to the natural teeth. Other connectors such as precision attachments may also be color-matched to look more aesthetically pleasing. After your partial denture is checked and adjusted for proper placement it can be worn immediately but may take some time to get used.

Partial denture benefits:

  • Removable and simple to clean
  • Limits movement of surrounding teeth
  • Improved appearance and self confidence
  • Reduces risks of TMJ disorder or TMD
  • Supports the alignment of existing teeth
  • Better biting, chewing and eating abilities
